Welcome to Deliverance Church Meru, a Christ-centered church committed to raising disciples, transforming lives, and building a strong community of believers through the Word of God, prayer, worship, and fellowship.
Background
Deliverance Church Kenya was started in 1969 by the name Young Christian Ambassadors Fellowship, derived from 2 Corinthians 5:20. The need to operate as a church was realized on 22nd November 1970. The name Deliverance Church derived from Luke 4:18 -19 was preferred and adopted immediately. This Ministry was a spontaneous work of the Holy Spirit. The church has grown beyond the nation of Kenya to the glory of God.
The Church in Meru was born on Sunday 26th July 1997 with an initial mandate to build an Apostolic Family Church.
Our Story
Deliverance Church Meru is a Christ-centered community committed to sharing the love of Jesus Christ and helping people grow in their faith. Through biblical teaching, prayer, worship, fellowship, and outreach, we seek to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals, families, and the wider community.
Our church provides a welcoming environment where people can discover their purpose, develop their gifts, and serve God and others. We believe that strong families, faithful disciples, and transformed lives are essential to building a healthy and thriving community
